Company History
The PSTC journey commenced when five visionary individuals united by a shared dream endeavored to offer an alternative path to education. Their common aspiration was to empower individuals with the invaluable tools of technical skills, coupled with a profound commitment to spiritual and values formation. Thus, on March 12, 2006, PSTC’s inaugural chapter was penned with 87 eager students in Villa Amparo Subdivision, Bayan Luma IV, Imus, Cavite.
A Humble Beginning:
On March 12, 2006, Power Skills Technical Center took its first giant steps in Villa Amparo Subdivision, Bayan Luma IV, Imus, Cavite. Eighty-seven eager students marked the beginning of a journey that would redefine education. In less than a year, PSTC embarked on a pivotal transition to a larger, more accommodating location, establishing its Main Office on the 3rd Floor of Paredes Building, Km. 21 Aguinaldo Highway, just across Robinson’s Place in Imus, Cavite. This move was driven by an unwavering commitment to enhancing service delivery and providing superior facilities for the students, setting the stage for PSTC’s sustained growth.
Expanding Horizons:
November 2011 marked a significant milestone in PSTC’s history with the opening of a new branch in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, this branch extended its educational outreach to students from Dasmariñas, General Trias, Silang, Tagaytay, and even Batangas, solidifying PSTC’s reputation as a champion of alternative education.
Reaching New Frontiers:
PSTC’s pursuit of excellence continued as it strategically positioned itself in front of SM Calamba in Calamba Laguna in early 2013, broadening its reach to cater to the educational needs of aspiring learners in a new territory.
A Global Challenge:
In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the world, forcing the temporary closure of all three PSTC branches. The absence of face-to-face classes during this trying period cast a shadow over the institution, but it couldn’t diminish the collective thirst for knowledge and skills that PSTC had ignited.
Resilience and Renewal:
In response to popular demand and a steadfast commitment to its mission, Power Skills Technical Center emerged from this challenging period with renewed strength. On March 15, 2023, PSTC reopened its doors at the Michael Commercial Complex 2, Brgy. Paliparan 1, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, ready to continue its legacy of shaping futures.
A Fresh Beginning:
PSTC’s resurgence brings with it an impressive array of course offerings, including Automotive Servicing NCI, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NCI, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NCII. These courses, now underway, signify PSTC’s dedication to providing learners with the skills they need for a successful future. As these courses gain TESDA approval, PSTC’s offerings will expand to include Automotive Servicing NCII, Technical Drafting NCII, Visual Graphic Design NCIII, Computer Systems Servicing NCII, Gas Metal Arc Welding NCI, and Gas Metal Arc Welding NCII.
